A ready-made Mongrel Series audio cable compatible with: Meze 99 Classics & 109 Pro headphones. The headphone connectors are 3.5mm mono plugs with a long extension designed to fit inside the long and narrow recessed socket of the headphone. As the extension is so long we would not recommend using this cable with any other headphone, as they may stick out too far and risk digging into the shoulder which could damage the cable or headphone socket, so only buy this for use with the Meze 99 Classics as that will be the only headphone the cable warranty is valid for using with.

This Mongrel cable is made with our 80-strand litz copper wire, and features Sky (left), Acid (right) and Black (main) paracord. At the source is a balanced 4.4mm TRRRS plug with black OIDIO heat shrink, and at the headphone end is a pair of 3.5mm gold plated TS plugs with our L / R printed letter heat shrinks for left and right. The four cores are braided in the round to reduce interference up to the split, and twisted as pairs above the split. The length is the total approximate length from source connector to headphone connector, and in this case it is 2m long. It has a medium split length of about 30-35cm, and there is no splitter.

All our cables are soldered using lead-free silver solder (4% silver) to ensure the best quality joins for both signal and strength. We are also pleased to offer the Mongrel series with an extended 18-month warranty.
