MADE-TO-ORDER CABLES AND GOODS
Our made-to-order cables or other made-to-order goods such as cut wire are non-returnable/non-refundable, in accordance with UK distance selling regulations as they fall under the category of "tailor-made or personalised goods" which are exempt from return if you change your mind. For made-to-order products that arrive damaged or faulty, these can only be returned for repair under warranty, not a refund. To initiate a return for repair under warranty, please email SALES@OIDIOSOUND.CO.UK with your order details and reason for return and we will issue you with a return number and instructions.
All other items, such as ready-made cable or DIY parts can be returned if a returns request is made within 14 days of receipt, and the goods are in a new and unused condition. You will be responsible for return shipping costs and shipping insurance. Once we get the goods back, we will process the refund within 1 working day (providing the condition is as new). If you paid for shipping on the order this will not be refunded. Refunds via PayPal can take up to 30 days to process depending on what payment method was used; this time is part of PayPal's refund policy and is out of our control. If goods are returned late, damaged, used or without the original packaging no refund will be given. To initiate a return for refund, please email SALES@OIDIOSOUND.CO.UK with your order details and reason for return and we will issue you with a return number and instructions.
The return postage costs for faulty goods will be refunded retrospectively upon our receipt of the goods and confirmation of the fault, up to a standard amount on any national postage courier. After contacting us about a return, we will advise what the maximum postage refund will be based on national couriers in your location, the items value and parcel size. For example, if you were returning a cable from within the UK, the courier used must be Royal Mail and the service used be Signed For standard class for large letter. Any service used that is different to what we specify and incurring a greater cost, would only be refunded up to the specified maximum value, meaning you would be responsible for any additional cost (for example if you were to use a different courier, express service or larger parcel size).
