One pair of DIY headphone connectors, designed for various Sennheiser headphones including: HD580, HD58X, HD600, HD650, HD660S & HD6XX which use this two pin design. This pair features a black and red design with gold plated pin contacts. The black / red part housing the pins is soft rubbery/plastic material to fit inside the headphone socket, and covering the solder solder tabs is a metal screw-shell design which also features an optional side screw to secure the cable to the metal chassis (keeping strain away from the joins if applied correctly). The entry hole at the back of the clamshell is approximately 4mm wide. The dot on the outside indicates the orientation when used, it should face outwards away from the headphone (fat pin is -, thin pin is +).

Note: The pin housing is a soft material, over heating when soldering can cause the plug to melt easily, so these are only suitable for experienced solder users who know what they're doing with temperature controlled equipment.
