One pair of DIY headphone connectors, designed for various Sennheiser headphones including: HD580, HD58X, HD600, HD650, HD660S & HD6XX which use this two pin design. This pair features a black design with gold plated pin contacts. The black part housing the pins is soft rubbery/plastic material to fit inside the headphone socket, and covering the solder solder tabs is a clamshell design of two hard plastic clips which push together over the softer rubber material. The entry hole at the back of the clamshell is about 3mm wide. On the outside of pair is an embossed L or R on one side of the hard plastic.

Note: The clamshell design can open easily, so you may want to secure it down with either glue inside or heat shrink on the outside (as we do), to ensure it won't open accidentally or wear out. And because the pin housing is a soft material over heating when soldering can cause the plug to melt easily, so these are only suitable for experienced solder users who know what they're doing with temperature controlled equipment. The pin design is slightly different to the one we stock.
