A Mog Series audio adapter and interconnect cable for converting or connecting various connection types, by OIDIO SOUND. PLEASE NOTE: This adapter cable is for connections requiring up to 4 internal wires only, if you need an interconnect cable that uses 5 or such as for 4.4mm to 4.4mm please see our other listings.

Our Mog Series adapter cable can be made with either the wider gauge Mogami 2534 wire, or the slightly narrower Mogami 2893. The 2534 cable has an outer diameter of 6.0mm, with the main 4 conducting wires inside at a gauge of 24 AWG. The 2893 cable has an outer diameter of 4.8mm, with the main 4 conducting wires inside at a gauge of 26 AWG. The wider 2534 is suited for larger connectors such as 6.35mm and XLR, and is the same cable we use for XLR interconnects and y-split headphone cables. The 2893 is slimmer and slightly more flexible, better suited for smaller connectors and jack type plugs. The 4 internal OFC wires all have a protective coating, and are shielded together with a copper wire wrap that is covered by an outer PVC jacket. The outer jacket is black in colour, and feature Mogami print down the side. This cable can be made up to 4m in length, where the length is the total approximate length from input connector to output connector to within a few cm, and includes the length of the connector body. Please keep in mind that changes to the cable spec in comparison to an existing cable you have can affect the sound/signal, for example longer lengths tend to sound more warmer/rounded because they usually have a greater capacitance and antenna effect.
