An OIDIO Pellucid series balanced interconnect cable, to convert 4.4mm TRRRS output to dual 3-pin XLR. This cable has a male 4.4mm TRRRS plug (generic) at one end, and the option of either male or female 3-pin Neutrik XLR's at the other. All contacts are gold plated, and unlike most of our other cables, this cable is made with 6 strands of wire in total, 3 for left and 3 for right.

Our Pellucid Series cables are made with 26AWG silver plated copper wire, of high purity with 19-strands per core and with a Teflon coating. Please note we are now using our original Pellucid wire supplier again that was used pre-2020, having switched in 2020 to a different one (Alpha Wire), as we have fixed the supply issue and with this 19-strand wire the cables are thinner and more flexible (and therefore better for users!). For this specific cable there are 2x 3 strand braids which start at the 4.4mm plug and split off from there to the left and right XLR's, and sleeved inside one paracord of your choice. It can be made to one of various lengths between up to 3m, where the length is the total approximate length from input connector to output connector to within a few cm, and includes the length of the connector body. Please keep in mind that changes to the cable spec in comparison to an existing cable you have can affect the sound/signal, for example longer lengths tend to sound more warmer/rounded because they usually have a greater capacitance and antenna effect. Therefore please be aware that if you order a length longer than your existing cable you may notice the sound is less clear or more round/warm by comparison.

For this cable, there is a choice of ring colours on the XLR end, with standard options of either plain black or the common black/red to indicate left/right. If you prefer something more custom, simply select 'other' and the reply to the order confirmation email with your choice for left and right. The first example photo shows blue and white. The full range is: black, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, grey, white. Please note the ring colours are not a perfect match for paracord colours of the same name, some may be a different tone or shade and look very different.

All our cables are soldered using lead-free silver solder (4% silver) to ensure the best quality joins for both signal and strength. The example images on our listings are as a guide only; any and all cables purchased may look slightly different to these example images.
