A 4-core sleeve shielded wire by PRO POWER, model number JY-1166. This audio wire has a total external diameter of 4.5mm including black PVC coating with text as seen in the photo. There are 4 wire cores inside, each is 7/0.10mm (7 strands of 0.10mm diameter), with a conductor area of 0.05mm2. Each core is sleeved with a colour coded coating as seen, and around this is a screened shielding wire to help protect against EMI and crosstalk. Ideal for applications with 4 or 5 pins. As each core is quite thin we recommend using connectors that will clamp onto the PVC outer coating to ensure greatest durability, and when cutting the wire you will need electricians scissors to cut through the whole 4.5mm and precision/adjustable wire strippers for stripping back the coating externally and internally.

This wire is priced per 1m (100cm) at £3/m, if you purchase multiple items this will be sent as one continuous length, for example if you purchase 4 lots you will receive 1 length of 4m (4x1). Please note our Paracord sleeving will not fit over this screened cable because it is too wide, but you may be able to find wider sleeving elsewhere.
