A ready-made Shadow Series audio adapter cable for converting 4-pin XLR cables to standard 6.35mm.

This ready-made cable is about 25cm long, and features a 4-pin female Neutrik XLR at one end and a Neutrik 6.35mm TRS plug at the other.

The Shadow series is a non-audiophile grade of cable, with a more basic design that is aimed at anyone that just wants a simple cable with a practical difference to the stock one, such as a different length or source connector. It is made with a 4-core 24awg copper wire cable that is coated with a dual layer of PVC: one part is the individual coating around each wire core, and then a second black coating is on the outside. Things to note:

• This is not an audiophile grade cable, hence the lower price, if you require an audiophile grade cable please see our other series of cables.
• The PVC coating is relatively flexible, but being a polymer based coating it is more microphonic when it comes to 'knocking' type microphonics than cord sleeving, as it cannot cushion impacts as well (for example into a desk). It does however offer good microphonics of the 'rubbing' type as it is very smooth.

All our cables are soldered using lead-free silver solder (4% silver) to ensure the best quality joins for both signal and strength. The example images on our listings are as a guide only; any and all cables purchased may look slightly different to these example images. The Shadow series cables are offered with a standard 12-month warranty.
