A non-balanced adapter by ddHiFi, this listing is for the DJ30A, an adapter that has a 3.5mm female TRS socket to male 4.4mm TRRRS (non-balanced), ideal for converting existing balanced 3.5mm cables to use on certain 4.4mm outputs (PLEASE NOTE: This is not compatible with Sony devices, e.g. Sony digital music players or Walkman). This type of adapter is super short and offer an angled design, which helps to reduce strain on the source socket and means the signal has less far to travel compared to cabled adapters. They also feature gold plated contacts, and an aluminium shell, shipped inside a cardboard storage box.

As noted above, will not work with Sony 4.4mm outputs, and may also have issues with others, such as unexpected tonal changes on FiiO M15 including less dynamic at the high end. It is also recommended to use the 3.5mm out if the device has one when trying to connect 3.5mm cable, not this adapter. This is not a balanced adapter, the ground is connected to ground, not L-/R-. Only purchase if you are happy to take a chance, we will not accept returns on this if the box is open or you have bought to use on a Sony device.
