A balanced adapter by ddHiFi, this listing is for the DJ44B, an adapter that has a 4.4mm female TRRRS socket to male 2.5mm TRRS (balanced) plug, ideal for converting existing balanced 4.4mm cables to balanced 2.5mm. This type of adapter is super short and offer an angled design, which helps to reduce strain on the source socket and means the signal has less far to travel compared to cabled adapters. It also feature gold plated contacts, and a new 2021 design, shipped inside a cardboard storage box.

The 4.4mm TRRRS socket is compatible with cables that use a 4.4mm pentaconn-type connector, such as those designed for certain modern balanced players and amps, such as Sony NW-WM1Z, NW-WM1A, PHA-2A and TA-ZH1ES, Astell&Kern KANN ALPHA.
